Novice Head
Plucks, 14th December 2008

The 2008 Novice Head saw Keynes dominate, winning both the Men's and Women's catagories. The Keynes Women A crew were absolutely outstanding, not only defeating all female competition, but most of the male opposition aswell! Jen Fisher, Chloe Marshall, Antonia Gerlach, Alice Mason, with their cox Nick Paterson were deserved winners, having arguably done more training than Senior crews in the last few weeks!

The Keynes Men A crew were also comfortable winners, mainly due to a stunning row in the sweep which saw them set a time of 3:17, a whopping fifty-six seconds faster than the next crew. Dave Weildon, Oliver Carpenter, James Dumelow, James Findon, and their cox Amy Hills completed a Keynes double and ensured the Bow Ball was to be Keynes' night.

Congratulations to all crews who participated!

*The Men's Darwin B crew was composed of three Darwin rowers and one Eliot rower, meaning their 5 points has been divided up with Darwin receiving 3.75 points and Eliot receiving 1.25 points.

**The Women's Keynes A crew was composed of three Keynes rowers and one Darwin rower, meaning their 6 points has been divided up with Keynes receiving 4.5 points and Darwin receiving 1.5 points.
