Maidstone
March 11th 2012
Sunday 11th March saw Kent Rowing’s racing crews out competing again to represent their club and University.
It was the first competitive race for the development crews who showed great promise for the future of the club. Men’s pair, Carl Soan and Lawson Emanuel had a strong rowed and showed their determination for a successful season ahead. Unfortunately men’s double experienced equipment failure at the start line and had to pull out.
The greatest success of the day came from the women’s IM3four, crewed by Sarah Corbett, Laura Brunton, Sarah Moseley and Emma Cross. They won their category and were crowned women’s fastest boat of the day – a title Kent Rowing has held for the last three years.
Massive congratulations to all who raced.
